Hathersage Village Well Dressing 2023  – On display for The Village Gala

Why not join us and slap some clay into boards, stick some petals, foraged foliage and natural materials into the clay and help create a wonderful Well Dressing for the Village.  No skills other than willingness to muck in and create. Every little bit of help counts and is appreciated.  Meet new people, old hands and new are needed and there are no age limits.   We’d really like you to help take part in this ancient tradition of giving thanks for our water supply.

Sessions will be held in the Lawrence Room of Hathersage Memorial Hall from 26th June to 30th June   Mornings 10- 12.30  Afternoons 2.00 – 5.00 Evenings   6.30 – 9.00  pm

Blessing of the Well will be on Sunday 2nd July at 6.00 pm at the foot of the Methodist Church Drive

Help to prepare on Sunday 25th June in the Lawrence Hall would be welcome at 10.30 am.  Contact Anne Yule 651849
